Get to Know Me

Ever since I was young, I've had an interest in what makes people tick and I knew I wanted to get into a career path that would make a difference in people’s lives. I have varied experience in academic settings, the public and private sector. This experience has given me a broad perspective of the individual across the lifespan. I spent many years working with adolescents with severe, complex, and persistent mental health problems. I have presented my work at national conferences and have also been a guest lecturer at The University of Queensland. I've spent a number of years working in a large reputable group practice where I had the privilege of working with adults from different walks of life with a variety of different problems. I have specialised training and experience in the area of parenting skills, trauma, eating disorders, self harming behaviours, substance abuse, depression and anxiety disorders.

I really enjoy working with people and strive to develop a therapeutic alliance in order to utilise evidence based cognitive-behavioural and mindful treatment strategies to maximise client outcomes.

During the year that was 2020, I decided that it was time to fulfil my long held dream of running my own practice.

Welcome. I'm so glad that you're here.
